One evening in July 2018, in the middle of the football World Cup, Emilie Pelegrin, who grew up in the fashion world, came up with an idea during a discussion with a friend, a football players' agent, and Emilie Duchêne, a successful jewellery designer. From there, what started as a spark turned into a challenge: why not create a jewellery label, faithful to all the codes of jewellery, but which would shake up the themes by devoting itself solely to football and its symbols, one of the most popular and most watched sports in the world?
All that remained was to find a name that would symbolise excellence with a certain elegance. The Edson label was born. Few people know that it was named after a legend in the history of football, Edson Arantes Do Nascimento, better known as Pele. What better patronymic for a label that intends to offer the excellence of a line of precious jewellery in homage to the world of football?
